About this listen
Jenny's dreams have turned to nightmares.
Every night, her thoughts are filled with evil. Something is reaching out...and she's not so sure she wants to reach back. That is, until someone new appears in her dreams. Someone who protects her, comforts her, and thinks of Jenny as his mate. Imaginary friends aren't real, but Jenny likes to pretend, anyhow.
Then, one day, one of the mindless dragons guarding the fort awakens...and Jenny realizes that the friend from her dreams isn't a figment of her imagination. He's a dragon.
And he's looking to claim his female.
Contains mature themes.

this one didn't cut it
I love everything of Ruby's but this book went virtually nowhere and the constant memory loss became irritating and the h was pretty patient.. I understand the plotline was centred around Mahl's memory but it just didn't work for me.
not to mention this book was smothered in smut.
I enjoy those sexy scenes but this one was too much for me.
there was some silly bits that made me eye roll and it started to revolve around being pregnant. it's so very basic and it made me wonder if it was Ruby's writing at all.
I actually skipped through bits but I persevered to the end as I know the final pieces are near.
the h was immature in a lot of her thinking and made stupid decisions for her and her mate. which just eeked out the flat story and I got frustrated big time. it took a long time for the penny to be dropped.
Jillian Macie did OK, I've listened to her before and I enjoyed her narration both then and now.
