Publisher's Summary
I'm Cisco Suarez and this is the end of the line.
I've been beaten, shackled, killed once or twice, but hey, who's counting? I put my foot down at being lit up like a candle at my daughter's tenth birthday party. Some things you take personal.
Revenge won't be easy. The Miami voodoo underground turned on me. An uppity wizard cartel is creeping into my business. If that's not enough, I keep seeing the same damn black cat everywhere I go. Talk about crummy luck.
None of it matters. I've got laser focus on my archenemy, a jinn with a knack for fire. News flash: I'm done being burned. Connor Hatch is going down for good, even if I have to drag him to hell myself.

Great finale
What about Neil Hellegers’s performance did you like?
Neil Helleger did another amazing job with the narration of this story. He really brings all the characters to life with the different tone inflictions and emotions within the story.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
It always made me laugh, in each book, every time Cisco would say "I've been in worse situations before". However, each situation to me, appeared to be worse as the story progressed. I think it made Cisco feel good to state that view, to help him get through the situation.
Any additional comments?
I really enjoyed this book and the whole Black Magic Outlaw series. This 5th, and I assume final, book continued to develop and build on the characters, whether the reader was intended to like or dislike a character, and the story developed well to a great conclusion. It was good to see new characters and the role, albiet small, was still important in where the story was heading. I really like the role that Tyson played in this and as always, Connor is a great villain. The scene settings i.e. the different lands described were amazing.
This is a great series, one that I look forward to listening, and also reading, again in the future.
