About this listen
Live large, do tough stuff and give back. Includes exclusive bonus insights from Nedd Brockmann and sports commentator Adam Peacock.
FIRE UP! shares some of the lessons I’ve learned from the first twenty-five years of my life, from growing up in the bush to running across Australia. This is what fires me up every single day.
I’m aware I’m just one person among billions, many of whom are far wiser than I am.
While this is what works for me, by no means am I suggesting it’s some sort of guaranteed formula for success. You may read something that sparks a fire in your belly (as it does in mine), but ultimately it comes down to you having a red-hot crack.
I hope that, among these insights and stories, you’ll find some words of inspiration that encourage you to chase your dreams and give you the self-belief to back yourself along the way.
PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio.

Blatant Cash Grab - Recycled the first book.
Two things that aren't mentioned once in the description that really should be:
1. This book is for young adults.
2: 90% of it is recycled from his first book.
I loved the first book. I have absolutely no need to listened to a shortened version of it.
It's literally just the first book recycled and shortened, with "podcast" sections in between chapters (like Goggins did in Can't Hurt Me) which are unfortunately poorly executed and quite boring.
Goggins' interviewer knew him very well, connected to his mindset, and trained with him. The questions were great, and the answers were raw and inspiring. Sadly not the case here.
One chapter was literally just a list of songs Nedd likes with short comments like "Yeah come on Barnesy".
Seems like an exercise in how to throw together a book with the least amount of effort possible in order to capitalize off of his recent, extraordinary achievement - which was happening as the book was released.
