Absorbing, different and wonderfully narrated

John Boyne never disappoints. I’ve listened to Earth and Water both excellent . This is a disturbing story but totally absorbing.

A gripping thriller

Beautifully written. Exactly what I enjoy in a book: evocative, gripping, but entertaining. Also enjoyed Anna Friel's calming voice.

Monster?

Absolutely compelling & utterly repulsive simultaneously. A twisty dark story that is so of the moment. Fabulous writer. Great narration

Wow what a thought provoking novel

I had seen good reviews for this book, and it was good. Shocking and disturbing but well worth the listen.
