Evil and corruption intrigue

Intriguing story incorporating mafia type corruption and criminal activities- interfering with the justice system. I enjoyed the personal storyline too. Well worth listening to this story

Disappointing

I usually enjoy this author and was very disappointed with this book. The courtroom process was not believable particularly the very experienced DA/prosecutor. I found myself thinking objection! repeatedly.
The narrator constantly mispronounced words and I found the continual rise and fall of her sentences very irritating.
Overall the plot and the story were weak.
