not just another post acopolytic series
great characters and loved the authors narrative. first time hearing of the author and def need to check out more works. shame the series won't be revisited but one lives in hope... go Nancy!

awesome book
I cannot fault this book. I enjoyed every minute of it. The storyline and plot was brilliant and it was very easy to get into. I also have to praise the author too if that was him doing all those voices. Fantastic job, especially the russian accents. I thoroughly recommend this to anybody that likes a thriller with a twist to it and apocalytic surroundings. I will be looking out for other titles by this author for sure!

Great Momentum, Action Abound!
What he lacks in finesse as a writer, he makes up for with fast packed action and an interesting story in this series. Having said that I am used to listening to the greats like Wilbur Smith, Robert Galbraith (JK Rowling) and Diana Gabaldon so I am pretty spoilt by outstanding authors.
The passion Mike has for the world he creates in his stories is to be commended however he should hire a professional narrator to read his books as his voice is somewhat monotone which detracts from the story and to be honest, it sounds amateurish.
Well done Mike, you have every reason to be proud of your work. 👍

It’s like a Boys Own adventure story
Badly recorded with heaps of repetition. This characterisation by the narrator was average at best and woeful when it came to the female characters. I felt like ‘mom’ had been envoked scolding the naughty boys of the story. Overall pretty awful.

Painful
Poor illogical storyline, shallow stereotyped characters, monotonous and amateurish narration especially weak character voices... could not finish. Fathoms below standard set by Nicholas Sansbury Smith, A American, John Birmingham, AJ Sykes, SM Anderson... to name but a few.
