Pauly Johnson is a successful surgeon at a Melbourne hospital with a beautiful wife, a loving family and a memory he wishes he could erase.

Overall glad I read it, but slow to get into.
I was under the impression this was a psychological thriller, but I guess I was wrong.
I liked Jonty the cat, and how the author describes anxiety/fear.
The voices were a little odd for some of the characters.
Overall a good read, just wasn’t what I was expecting.

Fantastic story and narrator
I really enjoyed this. It was just a tiny, little bit unbelievable but I appreciated the complexity of characters and that the author really gave us something different. The narration was superb.

Good listen
easy to listen to.and suspenseful enough to enjoy. The Aussie accent was appropriate, and lent authenticity (says the kiwi grudgingly!)

Brilliant
My first experience with this author and I’ll definitely be on the lookout for more. Empathetically written, with an entirely credible cast of characters and plot. It was perfectly narrated it was engaging from the first paragraph. It became even more so as the plot developed along some very unexpected turns and outcomes. It was a binge listen for me.
