Publisher's Summary
Died for a cause.
Johnny’s tombstone would read like something you’d find in a dime novel at a used bookstore. Going out like a snuffed candle, his life ended just as it had really begun.
Now he’s been given a second chance to fight his way out of the corner he put himself into.
In a world of brawls, dirty fights, and hard-hitting cultivators, he must win. Because if he loses, he’ll lose more than just the fight, and it won’t be his life. He already managed that once, after all.
Warning: This slice-of-life, slow-burn, gamelit story contains adult themes, undefined relationships/harem, and graphic violence.

A brilliant boxing book!!!
Just loved it! The slow burn was perfect and the feel of the boxing was on point. trying not to spoil the book but I highly recommend you pick this up.and read! Johnny Rock Hard with Fearless Freddie will make it all the way to the top!

Was a good listen in the car
First off, the Narration was perfect. I've listened to Christopher & Jess many times and they always deliver.
The mc was good, good back story and liked his principles.
The story itself was a little up and down. The concept was great with the boxing, stat's, relationship with the girl, enjoyed it. But it seemed to veer off a few times and leave me hanging. I am going to give the next one a go to see where it heads and hopefully it lifts up.
But I will say, that the very ending of this first book, wasn't thrilled with it, the characters could of just dated for a while first.

Fight Town
Hondo Jinx is one of the most talented and skilled author's and I enjoyed his book's .
And I got to say I'm hooked on this series and I can't wait to buy the next book in this series.
And with the voice acting talents and skills of Christopher Boucher and Jessica Threet that makes the characters and world come alive with the narration of this book.

Grit, litrpg and heart.
A male friend recommended this book to me. I was a little hesitant to read this because as a female I'm not really into harem based books. However this book surprised me. The author obviously knew what he was writing about in this book about fighting and there was true grit throughout this tale. More importantly the interaction between the sexes pleased and surprised me. This first book didn't have any harem elements although I'm told Hondo Jinx had other stories with haremLit, but this slow burn in my humble opinion gave the story more heart. Last but not least, the narrators truly brought this story to life. Well done to both the author and narrators!
