Excellent

This was an excellent story well crafted. Many twists and turns with a great ending - it really will keep you guessing. You'll think you've got it nailed, change your mind, only to change it again - several times. Very clever and pleasing. The narrator is such a welcome relief from the usual male narrators who can't seem to actualise female characters for sh*t! Adam Sims is to be congratulated and indeed looked out for in subsequent work as he does such an excellent job at audiobook narration. His characters are clearly wrought and smoothly and cleanly voiced and his females are believable. I couldn't stop listening to this one and tried to devour it in one hit. I would have succeeded too had I not fallen asleep! :-D Great Book!

Unsure,,, but

When I first started listening was unsure about the narration once got further into the story it became irrelevant irrelevant. Real enjoyed the book from start to finish. A excellent storyline and in the end I did enjoy the narration. This was the first story by this author, looking forward to listening to futher by this author.Thought I had it worked out but wasnt sure as it information kept changing. A page turner from start to finish.

Brilliant read, love the twist

Great read, a real page turner. I felt too many people died esp one, I would have liked to see a romance blossom but that prob doesn’t sell thrillers! Whilst reading I was thinking oh my goodness who thinks of this stuff! Highly recommend this author and good narrator, I am going to miss his voice on my morning walk.

Very entertaining

If you like this genre, you will most likely enjoy this book. It was slightly obvious that a big “twist” would happen in the end but despite that it was a good book and the way the chapters were written about the “sister” was very good.

Fantastic book, all round

Never read a book by this author before, am going to try others of his because of this book.
Well written and excellent characters with punchy dialogue.
I struggled to get on with life while reading as I just had to finish it!
The reader could not have been better either. There is multiple povs and this was all read by the same reader, including female povs. I prefer this to multiple readers, because the voices for each character stayed consistent regardless of who’s POV it was.
If you like edgy ‘who done its’ with good plots and well developed characters, this is a great read (listen).

Knew there had to be a twist... priceless!

Great story. Very well written I really like Steve Cavanagh, his content is always explosive and adventurous. Sometimes you feel like you're disappearing into the book. Awesome!!
The actual plot was brilliant and the characters were strong.
I only docked one point off the performance as there was only one character with multiple identities and the same style of "whine" for each one, without changing his voice for the different characters. No biggie!
