When different storylines come together

I just love it in a thriller when by twists and turns the storylines come together. I haven't read or listened to anything by this author before. I will certainly be looking out for other works.
Unfortunately, I did find that the narrator had a very limited female character range and this did detract from the enjoyment a little. I might just read the next one, or watch for a different narrator.
