About this listen

Like Father Like Son: I said good-bye to my son. But he had one final request - a letter I'll never forget.

"Dear Dad, If you're reading this, it means I'm gone. I had one dream, growing old with Holland. Death won't stop me from providing for my wife. And because you're the best man I know, what I'm about to ask - my last request - I know you'll do. Please take care of Holland. Take her back to California with you. It's a lot - I know. But, I'm placing my most precious possession in your hands. Love, Scott."

Different as Night and Day: I laid my husband to rest....

Scott was my world and my future. His love for me transcended the dimensions of time and space - having made provisions for me in the event of his death. He was after all in a war zone and the odds were high he may not come home. But now I can't help but think about the new man in my life - my husband's father.

Contains mature themes.

Smoldering

Sweet and sexy slow burn. Military man leaves his wife's care in his fathers hands when he passes away. Holland is devastated and pines for her dead husband and hates shes falling for her father in law because he is so much like his son. Maguire is hot, sweet and dominant and wants to care for his sons family and falls in love along the way.
The first book ends in a cliffhanger but thankfully both books are included in this title.

Slow and frustrating, not my vibe.

While I like the idea of the story, I found it moved very slowly and got frustrated every time the constant walls kept going up for the MMC and FMC. Might be good for some but it was just frustrating to me. It does have a HEA, I just feel like it could’ve been reached without being padded out for so long.

Lost love to love found

What a story. I loved it. Lost love to Love found.
Story of a military wife losing the love of her life, a father losing his son and a love formed through this loss. its always a pleasure to listen to narrators that bring the story to life and captivate you from the beginning.
