Fabulous info
for a female focussed fasting approach that uses each individuals cycle to guide the way to a healthier life. Dr Mindy is excellent at teaching. Her way of sharing expert knowledge will benefit beginners or experienced fasters. Fantastic audiobook. Highly recommend without a doubt, an amazing book.

Game changer- what every girl needs to know about her cycle, hormones and food
I first came a cross Dr Mindy a few years ago whilst learning about keto and fasting. What Dr Mindy has put in one book is everything i needed to know about fasting, and how to synch this way of life with my cycle.
The Fasting Cycle is a game changer. Every girl entering her cycle should be taught this. Every woman nearing the end of her cycle should know this. Every woman no longer with a cycle should know this.
Fast like a girl cuts through the myriad data points and material out there and helps navigate through it from a woman’s perspective. The book explains complex biological processes in simple, consumable language and provides practical, everyday application of methods that make sense and work.
Congratulations Dr Mindy - a great book that I will be purchasing to give to my circle of friends, it’s simply too important not too.

Great insight into how we work
Mindy is a compelling speaker with a plethora of interesting facts about how humans work. The insights she shared on how hormones work for women was extremely useful. I wish I’d known this 30 years ago!
Only thing I’d like to see included is more succinct summary of how to actually fast. Like the process step by step including what you can and should not consume. E.g. ACV water. What to do if headaches come on at hour 30 etc etc. How to counter low blood sugar during a fast.

Great amount of detail into WHY and HOW
Great book but I feel it would have been easier to understand in the paperback as there are lots of references to appendices, diagrams, recipes etc. I was hoping there would have been a code available to be able to have access to these resources. Easy listen, lots of science and medical resources referred to. The Dr knows her stuff.

Everything makes sense
