Publisher's Summary
When the world of the Faeries began to collapse, they sought refuge in the only place they could.
That salvation lay in the hope of resurrection and rebirth. The Ancient One spread the souls of the Faerie across the Universe, placing them as seeds that would grow into mighty Dungeons, each a potential location for their people to be renewed.
No one on Earth was prepared for Dungeons to start popping up and causing technology to degrade. It was something they were going to have to adjust too, because Earth would never be the same.
Contains some adult content, violence, and language. Also present - Fae strangeness, unconventional lifestyles, and exploding mushrooms.

Great premise and characters
Deacon has evolved into a really good Author.
This being one of his earliest works shows he has great vision and world building.
Ashamed there was no more to this series
Loved the twin perspectives in the book and wonderfully narrated

The story and separate chapter voicing hurt this.
Interesting concept but I just couldn't get past half way as the separate chapter voicing hurt this story and lack of interest or soul. So it says duel narration but it's actually individual voicing chapter to chapter and they were bland if they were in the same booth or reacting to one another it would of been more interesting but it wasn't for me. And I think that's what hurt the story for me mostly. Also if the Army lost so many troops to a dungeon I think they would've handled it differently like bombing it or blocked it. But hey cool concept.
