Great story with excellent narration
This one is going in Favorites. I admit the heroine got annoying in her reactivity at times early on. However the connection between them, the mental chess match initially and the growing love made this a really enjoyable story.
The narration was excellent .. particularly Aaron Sherlock. Recommended.

Wow underrated !!!!!!!!!!!
Wow this book took me by surprise by how good it was,, I was swept up by this story very early on and I got invested in both characters straight away to me it was the perfect mix of a strong female going up against a strong man and both of them falling for each other . The way the love story progresses from there first interaction ( always arguing ) to them getting married ( loved up ) was a joy to listen too what I loved most of all was the strong connection and chemistry they have straight from their first encounter I have to say by far my favourite part of the book was listening to Aaron Shedlocks voice as crew its a perfect a mix of dominance and smooth honey that suits his role so much and Veronica as Scarlett was not bad but at times she was annoying always trying to be the hard one and walk away this will be one of my favs books that I will prob go back and listen too again give this a try you won’t be disappointed, !!!!!!

A Favourite
Fake Empire by C.W. Farnsworth deserves every bit of this five-star rating—wow, wow, WOW! I absolutely adored this book; it's the epitome of binge-worthy. As a reader, there's nothing I appreciate more than a powerful female lead, and Scarlett is a force to be reckoned with. I loved her as a character so so much.
The dynamic between Scarlett and Crew is nothing short of remarkable. Scarlett's unwavering strength and the way she fearlessly challenges Crew adds an incredible layer of tension to the story. Watching them navigate their challenges and engage in banter was so much fun to read. The tension, chemistry, and angst between these two characters were everything I crave in a captivating story. I was utterly obsessed with their dynamic.
