good writing and story, just god levana, I cannot sympathise with her and I disliked having to listen to her for 5 hours

Interesting
Rebecca does a great job of narrating this haunting but beautiful story about the live Levanna had before she became the ruler of Lunar.

Another great novella!
The story of Levana and her rise to Queen and beyond is a fantastic back story to the Lunar Chronicles. Heck, it even made me feel sorry for her! A must read/listen if you've read Lunar Chronicles!!

A fantastic insight into the mind of a villainess
Oh my god. What an experience. I had thought about skipping this entry in the series but I’m so glad I didn’t. Marissa Meyer did a fantastic job making you both sympathise with Levana and hate her. She’s been through so much, but kept digging herself further into her own nightmare. Even as a YA story, this is NOT for the faint of heart! It goes dark places, makes your gut twist with revulsion and your heart with pity. What an insight. What a tale.

a sort of sad prequel...
a sad prequel that shows how messed up the lunar Queen really is... when it comes to the marriage side of things, I can see how she went so wrong.
still, her erratic behaviour and brainwashing strategies continue to make her unlikable.
I think I could fix her though. :P
