Great story, queer read
Unlike the other review, the character of Lettle kinda *is* annoying. It’s nothing to do with the performance. For the first third of the book she has one refrain, and that just is repetitive and whiny. The story overall was very enjoyable, and the reading fabulous.

This story has such boundless potential. Unfortunately, the audio representation of these characters was not reflective of the depth of the writing. The female voices were performed as much younger than they were written and Lettle in particular was more whiny than petulant throughout the entire audio book which made her difficult to truly experience. I'm not sure if the audio artist was directed to perform them this way but the entire book would have benefited greatly by a fuller voice which she was definitely able to produce.
