About this listen

Facing the Storm Along the Oregon Trail is about a young Amish brother and sister who are excommunicated from their community because she wishes to spread the word of God outside of and within their community. This is forbidden, so they decide to journey west along the Oregon Trail and join their aunt in Oregon, who had been previously excommunicated for her way of thinking, also.

So he can protect his sister, the brother tells everyone that they are married and this works for them until he gets injured. A young man becomes their driver and the trio is made stronger by the faith of the siblings, plus the renewed faith of the young man. Nature and man often have ways of testing faith and the three meet the challenges head on, with God to leave the pathway clear.
