A good story narration disappointed
This is a case where the narration was a little annoying so I found myself tuning out a bit and had to replay parts. I think I would have enjoyed reading it this time

The ending is a cop-out
The story was good and narration excellent. But the ending - the very last sentence does not justify the rest of the story and does not make sense.

Read the other reviews and figured it’s Shari Lapena, it has to be good! Nope dragged on and the ending was blah. Returning.
