Amy Landry is your average, run-of-the-mill, self-professed hippie waitress. Living out her existence in Spokane, Washington, she strives to reach financial stability in the hopes of pursuing her art full time. Working for a boss who couldn’t be more her opposite, she struggles toward her goal. Her plans change when an adversary has a near death experience on the floor in her section and is whisked away by a very handsome, and very perplexing, paramedic. Slowly her delusions fall away to reveal what kind of life she had been living and how far it is from the life she knows she deserves. The peace-loving pacifist finds herself facing a difficult choice between her ideals and the direction reality wants to send her.
