About this listen
The excesses are most starkly visible in the continuing crisis in banking and investment, and even in the two enormous government-sponsored (but publicly owned) mortgage lenders, to say nothing of the billion-dollar-plus annual paychecks that top hedge-fund managers draw down and the excessive compensation paid to CEOs, regardless of performance.
Throughout his legendary career, John Bogle, founder of the Vanguard mutual fund group and creator of the first index mutual fund, has helped investors build wealth the right way and led a tireless campaign to restore common sense to the investment world. Along the way, he's seen how destructive an obsession with financial success can be.
Now, with Enough, he puts this dilemma in perspective. Bogle offers his unparalleled insights on money, on the values we should emulate in our business and professional callings, and on what we should consider as the true treasures in our lives. By explaining what "enough" truly is, he demonstrates how close everyone can be to having it.

The importance of values
Fantastic insight into the man who created ETFs the self described battler who has enough and wants to give back to the community. Highly recommended read.

Looking for Low Cost Mutual Funds
Interesting book with some strong messages in terms of what is important in life. Enough is a word not often used anymore. Time to bring it back.

Priceless wisdom
Great read/listening second book of Bogles I've listened to and I now understand why he is recommended by Warren Buffett.

Putting principles back into business
A very needed, hopeful, and life giving presentation on healthy uses of finance and principle based business. Going business in a way that sees people as people with a focus around financial businesses but stretching across other industries as well, the content was sound and so important for a world seemingly too intent on pursuing wealth at any cost. The alternative view John presents, the original view essentially, of returning to traditional values that puts the person first in any business activity was great to read. John's ability then to tie it in with one's personal life choices set a great model for the choice we have to live a fulfilling life, a joyful life, a giving life, where we have enough.
The only improvement I would offer was that a lot of the financial information at the start, the statistics and data around financial systems seemed like it could have been shortened whilst still communicating the point.

Light read.
Great book to spend a day listening to. It’s not so heavy in information that you get lost, but has just enough insight to be hooked.
Great book.

Not what I was expecting
Was hoping for a book on finance. As much as it is, it was quite preachy (religious) and how to lead a good life (through the eyes of Bogle).
Some interesting points, but take it all with a grain of salt.
