About this listen
The "end of America"? Most likely. The "demise of liberty"? You betcha! The "destruction of Western civilization"? Of course! But why let all of the above get you down? Learn to "enjoy the decline"!
Enjoy the Decline is mandatory listening for all conservatives, libertarians, Americans, and lovers of freedom who are mourning the slow-but-sure death of their culture and their country. America is over. Freedom will be curtailed. Liberty is dead. And above all else, it is inevitable. But the answer is not to get depressed and give up hope. The answer is to change your attitude and learn how to Enjoy the Decline. You get one life on this planet and Aaron Clarey explains how to get the most out of it even though socialism and tyranny are all around you. From learning how to adapt your psychology to learning to let go and take advantage of the socialist system, Enjoy the Decline carries the freedom-loving American through the five stages of grief and puts them on a path to enjoy their life regardless of what is happening to their beloved America. Dark, macabre, and morose, but truthful, helpful, and practical all the same, it is guaranteed to make you happier than your socialist counterparts even though they have everything they want. Make leftists, liberals, and progressives miserable. Enjoy the decline!

This book will change your life
After listening to this book I know I have a new understanding of the culture war and that’s probably best not to get too upset about it all and not to get to stress or ruin your life best thing to do is to not play the game and try to enjoy your life as best as you can and this book will hopefully give you some advice on how to do that

Interesting And Entertaining Book
There are some good lessons in this book that are worthy of consideration such as those around minimalism, the importance of family + friends vs. everything else, tax minimisation, working the system, and resourcefulness.
I did however find the author's outlook to be fairly doom and gloom. Hindsight is a beautiful thing and if one had followed the advice to the letter since the initial publication date of 2013 then they would have forgone a considerable wealth creation opportunity and come off 2nd best. The expansion of government, the welfare state and parasitism each remain concerning issues in the present day and the author is reasonably on point about these matters, albeit he tends to present the end position as an end of the world event which I view as extreme.
The book addresses woke culture (though he does not expressly address it as "woke") and provides conservatives with some interesting points to consider on these matters. This book pairs well with "Woke Inc" in my opinion though "enjoy the decline" urges readers to succumb and resign to the fact that socialism will end up dominating. The latter is something that true conservatives will find difficult to swallow regardless of the mindset adjustment the author seeks to impart on readers.
Overall, it's an engaging book, well narrated and packs plenty of laughs and insights.
