Publisher's Summary
Read by Hugh Fraser
A new Christie mystery combining love, death and melodrama blended together as only Agatha Christie can.
Gipsy’s Acre was a truly beautiful upland site with views out to sea – and in Michael Rogers it stirred a child-like fantasy.
There, amongst the dark fir trees, he planned to build a house, find a girl and live happily ever after.
Yet, as he left the village, a shadow of menace hung over the land. For this was the place where accidents happened. Perhaps Michael should have heeded the locals’ warnings: ‘There’s no luck for them as meddles with Gipsy’s Acre.’
Michael Rogers is a man who is about to learn the true meaning of the old saying ‘In my end is my beginning…’

Fascinating
What I was most surprised about, was that I actually did not like the story for the first 5 hours and then the last hour made me love the whole thing! Loved that! So definitely Persist! So fabulous! Agatha Christie is a master writer!

Wow, Agatha
For me, the mark of a good story is when you feel compelled to read or listen to it again so you can appreciate all the things you took for granted. I shall be doing that with this one. Wow, I wasn't expecting this story at all. I love her classic stuff but this, so unlike the others, was amazing in its own right.

beautiful yet creepy (in the best way)
it's a wonderful story where I wasn't sure where it was going. i know it's christie yet I didn't know if it would be a romance, a drama, supernatural or something more sinister. i normally like to get swept away in the story and towards the end I tried to pick what would happen but was surprised yet pleased with the direction

Disappointing
Very slow. Only got interesting within the last 1h 30mins. Rest of the story seemed like filler
