About this listen
Author Dirk Eldredge demonstates how the drug war has led only to overcrowded courts and prisons, rising crime, official corruption, eroded civil rights and race relations, and new public-health crises. He makes the case for an alternative strategy: tightly controlled legalization accompanied by expanded drug education, prevention, research, and treatment programs.

Promised much some really good facts and ideas.
I found Mr Riggenbach very difficult to listen to but persisted and ended with some understanding of American systems. Will America every change and take on Scandinavian social policies to reduce their incarceration levels? I think not! I hope that a some stage an enlightened America takes up some policies to assist their disenfranchised poor. Well worth listening to.
