a lovely coming of age romance
I enjoyed all the aspects of this story.
It was written well, the development of the characters was good.
It had 2 childhood best friends.. they finally got together in senior year and then went to different colleges.

Lanie
Lanie was off to College.
For the first time she is really alone.
Since she was 10, she has been sheltered by her best friend, Dane.
She has a wonderful father, but no mother.
