About this listen

"For me, life went on.

I grew up, got a job, made new friends, got married, fathered two children, divorced, and moved on again.

But no matter where I was or what I was doing or who I was with at the time, I couldn't help but wonder if Elnora's life had moved on--in a happy, normal fashion, that is. So many years later, in the age of the internet and social media, I'd decided to launch my own “investigation” into her life.

What I'd found--which wasn't much--led me to believe that her life had been anything but happy or normal. So, a lot of my investigation had been left up to speculation more than fact.

So, here is Elnora's life story, for better or worse. I wish it could have been better."

Says coming-of-age author Derrick Cutter, whose determination to find the love of his life may lead him into deep, dark places where sweet memories turn into nightmares and sometimes are best left forgotten.
