In Wichtelstadt treibt ein Dieb sein Unwesen. Er klaut die teuren Straßenlaternen, dank derer die fliegenden Fabelwesen nachts etwas sehen können. Papas Drache hat sogar einen Unfall in der plötzlichen Dunkelheit. Mama Brix soll den Fall lösen, schließlich ist sie Polizistin. Allerdings futtert Einschwein den einzigen Beweis auf: Ein Küchlein! Emmi ist stinksauer. Aber vielleicht können die beiden Mama doch noch helfen, den Dieb zu finden.
