Edith Piaf - Eine Legende! 1915 in Paris geboren, wurde sie bereits kurz nach der Geburt von ihrer Mutter verlassen und wuchs bei ihrer Großmutter auf, die sie halb verhungern lies. Ihr Vater, der in einem Wanderzirkus arbeitete, brachte sie schließlich bei seiner Mutter unter, die ein Bordell betrieb. Ediths Kindheit und Jugend war von Gewalt und Lieblosigkeit geprägt und so kam es, dass sie sich mit 15 nach Paris durchschlug und sich als Straßensängerin versuchte. Dort wurde sie als "La môme piaf", der kleine Spatz, berühmt. Es folgten unzählige, bis heute unvergessene Lieder, die den "Spatz von Paris" so berühmt gemacht haben. Ein vielschichtiger Blick auf das Leben einer großartigen Künstlerin.
