“Quinn”-tessential dystopia
A rating 4 (instead of a 5) because the repetitive “she lifted her chin” line used for Quinn and Hannah was a tad overdone. I nearly began counting the number of times the phrase occurred.
Still, I loved the development of Quinn. So happy she was the star of the book and her character was able to develop.
Stacey is a great narrator. So many female narrators really balls up male voices; Stacey handles them well.
Kyla - wow thanks again for extending this story. So looking forward to learning more about the General. No doubt he is going to be terrifying. Also I love your little author’s notes which you add. It helps us with context and personalises the read. Keep adding them in!

my least favourite
I'm not sure if I liked this instalment, I get a bit frustrated with wannabe anarchists and dictatorships. Although I know this Is the only direction a post apocalyptic genre can take.
This plotline seems to delve into the emotions of various characters, I was hoping kylas story writing was going to have Hannah in a better place.
Although I'm grumpy with how the H and h are missing vital warning signs.
As for one of my faves, Quinn has just taken giant steps backward but only as far as her age makes it. Her emotions and experiences have made her grow up quicker but, has also hindered her.
I got frustrated at her silence, her immaturity and her lack of forethought.
Not sure if I liked the direction kyla took Quinn, especially because she portrayed her far smarter in earlier books.
But I Shouldn't have worried as it turned out that her silence was what gave the book the suspense and angst that it needed.
Hi Still loving Liam and how he seems to be.Therefore everybody.I think the next book will be a beauty because of the general
Stacey, thank you very much for creating brilliant characters with your tone and inflexions. You're a fabulous narrator.
