should include both books for a single credit.
book itself is very much written for children (that's on me didn't realize laura was a children's author) plot was clever at times but generally basic, most of the first book feels like a "the 100" with dinosaurs written for children, but I love me some dinosaurs so I still enjoyed it book is very short the ending left me sour at the author though or at least her marketing agent it doesn't have an ending is just stops and basically thanks you in advance for buying the second book. the narrator had this forced chidlike voice at times that really ruined some parts of the book but overall she did well with the different characters.
in summary if they put both books for a single credit I'd recommend but it's really not worth spending two credits for this story, and honestly not sure if I'm interested enough to find out the big cliffhanger which I won't spoil but is kinda obvious. this novel which is really only the first half of the first book is a perfect example of for monitory gain writing but again if dinosaurs are your thing it's a good way to waste 8 hours
