About this listen
With Unity formed, Gunnar feels like he's created a family like he's never had before. All that's left is to grow in strength, continue building in Edgewood, and maybe earn a little affection from Princess Adeelee. Nothing can tear him away from his friends and newly founded guild.
Or can it?
Gunnar still has a lot to learn about his massive, new world. There are eyes and ears everywhere. Deception can come when you least expect it, and in Eden's Gate, sometimes you can lose control of your own fate.
And Rachel? Maybe she's still out there...somewhere.

Main character is still a noob
The main character for all his apparent previous experience in games seems to be abit of a noob, seems like such a dullard, not sure if I want to read the next one, just doesn’t seem worth reading about someone that at times is such an idiot

Good book
The story is good and has plenty of interesting events and details. Only downside is the main character is often dumber then can be believed wondering questions where the answers are plain and obvious. Otherwise a great read.

Felt like a filler arc- than a logical progression
its basically an expansion of a single part of the succession quest, the earth stuff build up seems contrived as the gov would do alot more and the pro players are basically guaranteed an impact on the story based on how long they built this up.
I simply don't see how all the build up will lead to something satisfying. will listen more just to make sure.

Great story,
Where does Eden's Gate: The Sands rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
this was the best book of the series so far. The writer is getting into his zone with the story and the plot is developing very well.
Any additional comments?
I enjoyed the series and I am impressed with audiobooks produced by this duo so far.

great world building and plot, moronic protagonist
the plots good and everything ties together well but it's really hard to relate to a main character who consistently makes dumb decisions and is unobservant to the point it's frustrating.
