About this listen
There are moments in life when we are transported into another world. As the sun sets and darkness creeps from under hedges and parked cars our world changes from one of rational logic to heart-pounding emotion. When the rain comes down in sheets and lightning flashes through the dark night, when the house creaks with the movements of things that crawl out of the shadows, we enter a world of fear in which monsters and ghosts seem not only believable but likely.
Night gives way to day and we breathe a sigh of relief, but even in the brightest sunshine there are shadows from which we hear echoes of the darkness.
