Former detective superintendent Bob Hoon has had one hell of a year.

Loved this series. So many laugh out loud moments. Highlight of my day listening to all four books.

Comedy and thriller rolled into one

The absolute best Hoon fest so far. Interesting that this book is set in only one location but I believe it’s the best by far. Action packed and hilarious as only Hoon, Berta and Iris can be. Great inclusion of all our other favourite characters. I am devastated that I’ve finished it. I JUST WANT MORE. As usual Angus King brings every character to life. I had to stop and go back many times because I was laughing so much I missed what he was saying. I can’t recommend J.D. Kirk highly enough.
