As always, Kylie. Is. SUPERB!! 😍

I love this series so much, and am currently enjoying the story again for the 3rd time!

A little disappointed with the most recent narrator - while still quite fluid, & not particularly difficult to listen to - 2 main Australian characters are voiced in one VERY British accent, and the other bordering on a trashy Essex accent... As well as Meredith's european accent suddenly being an overly exaggerated Toorak accent... I think some of the pronunciation has been lost a little in the narration process as well.

Here's hoping they bring back Jennifer Vuletic soon!

Great addition to the storyline!

Having listened to the previous series on Audible it was quite a transition to come to this one. Not only is it a different actor but her accents are really, really off. Given this is a story of an Australian and Chinese characters, I was surprised by the number of English and cockney accents. 😬😬😬

The change in narrator was jarring

First three books had Asian accents but this one has American and weird cockney at times. Doesn’t seem genuine. Disappointing

The narration is jarring and not right for the story. Given that this series contains the same universe and characters of the previous series, it is very off putting that the same narrator has used different voices and characterisation for the characters. It feels like it has been badly dubbed over in an English accent. I couldn't finish the book and returned it which is a shame as I love these books.

Great Story, Narration is off
