Dyt er en dreng med en livlig fantasi og sin helt egen vilje. Han oplever en masse spændende ting sammen med sin far og mor, sin mormor og Buller fra børnehaven. I kan blandt andet læse historierne om fisketuren i gården, strandturen med mormor og den om Dyts nye gummistøvler. Rina Dahlerup (f.1938) er en svenskfødt forfatter, illustrator og skribent. Hun har siden 1950'erne været baseret i København. Hun har blandt andet bidraget med adskillige tegnefilm til DR, hvoraf flere af dem siden er blevet internationalt distribueret. Hun skriver desuden billedbøger til børn, hvor hun forsøger at skabe et trygt rum afskåret fra kaosset i tidens medieflimmer. Udover sit virke for de yngste er hun medforfatter af det feministiske tegneseriealbum "Kanindræberen Kaj".
