About this listen

Fred did something bad.

He didn’t intend to do it, but the destruction of a dungeon core - accident or otherwise - will likely result in horrific consequences for anyone connected with the crime.

And not for just the perpetrators; everyone around them will suffer vengeful retribution from the nearby cores for the unthinkable act.

Knowing that his mistake will end up endangering his new friends, the townspeople of Gatecross, and even his Guild, Core Power, Fred decides to do whatever he can to protect them.

After he absorbed the nature core, he unlocked the ability to establish a territory and create his very own dungeon - a dungeon which will hopefully provide the defense they need to survive against the expected fight to come.

Unfortunately, the nature faction isn’t the only one that learned about Fred’s crime.

The Dungeon Adventurer Syndicate, under the authority of the Craytion Kingdom, has sent a powerful group to investigate....

decent

just some good ol fashioned dungeon based story, nothing revolutionary and fairly predictable but still enjoyable if you like the genre

Another great installment.

Another good installment. yet I felt the ending was a bit too predictable if not a bit cliche, the story and characters need a bit of time to ferment and develop, along side the MCs power.

95% of the book took place in 3 days time. which isnt conducive to building the identity of a dungeon. it turns into a tower defence novel, which uses the flower tripper exploit, to give no incentive to making an actually interesting dungeon.

given that he can improve the core structure of other cores, I assuume that he will be able to balance out the small fouth core that he just got. although it was a bit of a cop out as he didnt really earn the core anyways.

Im looking forward to what the set brings in the third book.
