About this listen

Expansion. Uneasy alliances. Looming Madness.

Both Cal and Dale have become stronger, each in spite of the other.

The dungeon - Cal - knows exactly how much their power has increased and is working daily to become exponentially more powerful. His schemes are becoming more complex and his dungeon - his body - more deadly.

Dale works to subvert the plans of the dungeon, but his opponent is onto him. Hearing a voice in his head distracts him in critical moments, requiring him to fight his mind even as he battles deadly creatures. Unbeknownst to both, their fight is not with each other - it's for the continuation of their lives.

Madness threatens the land, and it is coming for them.

Great continuation .

Was wondering how the dungeon was going to expand . Pretty neat and some twist I didn’t see coming. Can’t wait for the next

mindless fun

not the best written book, but it's definitely a fun time if you like the premise, the adventurers all sound funny cause they remind me of kronk, but cal and dani's voices can get irritating, especially when combined with the writing/characterization

Lived up to the first one

The only thing I disliked in the first book was the volume difference when going from voice to voice. This one fixes that issue. I honestly can't fault this series, it's phenomenal.

extremely unlikeable MC

Tried to power through this one but the cheesy dialogue, endless exposition and terrible MC (Dale, not the dungeon whom I actually liked) just made this a chore so will be stopping at book 2.
