Publisher's Summary
Ryker only has one goal in his life right now: Turn a certain adventuring guild into a flaming wreck while dancing merrily through the smoldering ruins. All for the chance to get back at a handful of people.
It isn’t as if they didn’t deserve it either.
They had driven him from his home. Chased him physically from the very guild house itself. All the way to the gates of the city.
Simply because he wasn’t as strong as they expected him to be.
As strong as he’d expected himself to be.
He’d returned to the city the next day and left with his means for revenge. Something he’d hidden away and told no one about when he found it in one of his few Dungeon Dives.
An inactive Dungeon Core.
A crystal the size of a fist with a soul inside. One that could create anything from mana it wanted to. From monsters and complex cave systems to gold coins.
Years spent in planning, and unfortunately farming, as he waited. Now it felt like his moment was finally here.
The Dungeon Core had been acting strange lately. As if it were finally… coming to life.
Watching over the crystal like a hawk for this very event, Ryker impatiently waits. Any day now, it'd start.
And he could set about taking his vengeance.
Starting with ripping the soul of the dungeon out.
Warning and minor spoiler: This novel contains graphic violence, undefined relationships/partial harem, unconventional opinions/beliefs, forced political marriage (and consummation), and a hero who is as tactful as a dog at a cat show. Listen at your own risk.

Brilliant
Huge fan of William D Arand and all his series. This one especially since the mc is inclined towards evil a fair bit

It’s just not up to the mark
The book wants to be written like a erotic novel setting the stage for a harem and dungeon lord with little morality then fizzles out. Story wise it’s engaging and has a decent set of characters. The author does write his romances like that but due to the mc lack of emotional development through out the book it just does not carry the book this time.

Better than I Ever Expected
I had for over a year ignored this book because of the art and because the voice actor wasn't to my taste. However, I'm very happy I gave it a go. It's the second or third best Dungeon story I've read next to Divine Dungeon and Dungeon Lord. That says a lot considering how many I've read.
In short, it gets much better as it goes and makes for an awesome listen. Well worth it.

Appalling MC and story.
There was nothing interesting, New, charming, or consistent in the book that wasn't done better in the dungeon reborn series, quite a few elements seemed to be ripped wholesale from it to serve this 'Anger management' book.
Rather than the harem premise that other reviews have stated, the book makes it blatantly obvious that this is an anger management book. The novel starts the MC off as an immature, angry, outcast with no one around him and his only goals being revenge and money.
He gains the plot device called The dungeon core and achieves parity with his goals in the first act with the revenge against Rob after swearing a lot and venting. from then on he is surrounded by female characters and after a few inconsistent mood changes he gradually becomes more subdued.
He gains immortality, power, riches, titles, women and responsibilities and flaunts them for the power trips and wish fulfilment of the MC. He then faces consequences for some of his revenge choices and learns to put away his revenge for a purpose because he learnt that it feels hollow.(The church's of light and dark are extremist views in the context of anger management)
While the unlikable MC and the story as whole never really did anything for me. It felt like the novel was actively trying to make me think a certain way rather than providing me with a compelling story or experience. It also dumbed down on some of the more interesting element the genre has and had a lot of self-serving moments.
