About this listen
Gabriel was a successful magic student until a classmate framed him, forcing him to join the Adventurer’s Guild to survive.
Unfortunately, his career as an adventurer doesn’t turn out quite how he was hoping. While on his first delve, he discovers more about monsters, dungeons, and souls than he ever imagined. With that knowledge comes power and new friends. But even as his exotic companions enrich his life, they also give him more to lose.
When Gabriel learns that time isn’t on their side, he has to find his way as a Dungeon Master before greedy adventurers and ravenous monsters strip away everything he holds dear.

I really wonted to like it
The story shows a decent amount of promise and room for growth and overall has quite likeable characters for the most part. My main problem in the main character, one problem i have with them is their, well kinda dim, he will get something explained to him multiple times and still blow up about it like he was never told about it, even after he had previously been told about it after he blew up about it once before then act like he was never told then blow up about it again later. My other big issue with him is his voice, now let me say i've listened to a few books with Andrea Parsneau and quite like her voice acting usually, with this being the one exception, She doesnt seem able to pull off a male voice resulting in the mc sounding like, well to be blunt a woman badly pretending to be a man, or a 14 year old that kicked in the crotch and never quite recovered and it completely takes me out of the story whenever hes talking. Having said this she does a fantastic job as the other characters, i just wish she wasn't also voicing the mc

Fantastic Light Fantasy
While things start off pretty horrifically I love how the story manages to stay mostly light while entrenched in darkness. Threaded with slice of life moments and levity, I really enjoyed the world and the characters and have both read and listened to this one more than once.

Dungeon Bound
Awesome work Bastian Knight
I love this book so much and with the voice acting talents and skills of Andrea Parsneaus. Who's narration makes the characters and world come alive .

couldn't finish it.
where to start. the voice acting is just so hard to listen to. the main female character has the worst voice that just makes me cringe. every second line felt like the mc commenting on a companions chest or their body shape etc. like, we get it. they are hot. move on. the story was very stagnant and took forever to go nowhere. I returned it and definitely don't recommend it.
