I loved it !!
My first hot and heavy romance, shit it’s my first romance read ever and wow did I like it ? Hella yes give me more Penelope Ward and damn Landon is so HOT !!!! 😍 I really enjoyed Andi Arndt ‘s narration I think I might have to check out some of her other work.
What an amazing story, loved every moment, I think I’m now a big fan of Penelope Ward

Good dose
One clicking on this book was full of trepidation but it delivers. it was sad, it was real and so moving. The lives these two lead and how it all melds and flows. the plot twist in there was so good I felt so good.

Fantastic story full of hope
I enjoyed every moment of this story and I thoroughly enjoy listening to Andi Arendt she portrays both characters very well and reads so well. Great story thanks x

Rated lower due to personal taste
The narrator was excellent and the connection between the two main characters across a lifetime was well done. Writing by Penelope Ward always good.
I did mark this story down though. I like a hero who I'd like as a Book Boyfriend. However the detailed focus on this one's smoking and piercings was a turn off for me.
There was also a long explicit anal sex scene that wasn't to my taste- though I did appreciate it had an educational aspect about how to do this respectfully for the woman (often skipped over and rushed to the point of likely pain in many other books).
Depends what you are into I guess.

Shouldnt be classed as erotica genre
This is a great story - but there are not enough sex scenes ... not a sexy read , more emotional
