Kind of sweet but also steamy
This book left me feeling equal parts satisfied yet disappointed. The whole damsel in distress & protective broody man was sweet to an extent but the Hero just really missed the mark for me. I found him to be such an asshole, and the heroine was so desperate for his affection that she let him get away with it. He just muttered an apology for acting like an ass and she forgave him instantly. The way he snapped at her and the horrible things he said on multiple occasions. I just felt like he was taking his own hang ups out on her and it made me really dislike the Hero. Also I feel like the heroine put him on such a pedi stool for doing normal things.. like the dishes. I just really didn’t connect with him at all.
If you love your romances to be Insta love then you’ll enjoy this book. There’s low angst and things get moving very fast. They are in love within 2 weeks.
The book was quite steamy but I also found it a little cringe to listen too. You’ll understand when you read it.. ‘bed time stories’ was just not my thing.
The narrators were good except the male narrators female voice made the heroine sound a bit winey and it just didn’t feel like it fit well. Great performances though!

So Cute
This was an adorable romance between a runaway, previously rich girl and a mechanic. I loved the narration in this audiobook, as well as the story as a whole. I found so many parts of the book where I felt like I could melt. They were so cute and managed to not be massively cringy. This is definitely a book I would recommend if you think you might enjoy it from reading the blurb. It's a standalone and has a definite HEA. Enjoy!

It’s definitely worth a listen 🎧 too. It’s cute and sexy and hilarious what’s not to love 💞 it’s a must . Especially with Rock and Van bringing this story to life . Perfect 💗💖💞💖❤️

cute storyline
the male narrator seem too old for a 32 year old. it was a bit off putting at first but I persevered as I enjoyed the story.

Not that good.
I think the woman in this story is a bit stupid it's like she needs someone to look out for her all the time I'm not a fan of that.
