Publisher's Summary
He vowed he'd come for her...
Murdered before he could wed Regin the Radiant, warlord Aidan the Fierce seeks his beloved through eternity, reborn again and again into new identities, yet with no memory of his past lives.
She awaits his return...
When Regin encounters Declan Chase, a brutal Celtic soldier, she recognizes her proud warlord reincarnated. But Declan takes her captive, intending retribution against all immortals - unaware that he belongs to their world.
To sate a desire more powerful than death...
Yet every reincarnation comes with a price, for Aidan is doomed to die when he remembers his past. To save herself from Declan’s torments, will Regin rekindle memories of the passion they once shared - even if it means once again losing the only man she could ever love?

Irish accent... wow
I read someone's review and they liked this book but not overly excited. so I started reading with little expectation. I think this book has the most intensity. it stays powerful and the mood never falters. it couldn't or the error of declans ways would not stay believable. kresley pulled it off nicely and I couldn't quite predict the outcome. and the Irish accent was gorgeous.....petloff is brilliant. I liked it and roll on book 12

The best Immortals book yet!
I admit from the very first mention of Regin and her reincarnated tragedy romances I was looking forward to reading their story! Cole did not disappoint! Loved this one from start to finish.

Wrong warrior
Any additional comments?
Probably my least favourite in the Immortals After Dark series. I've never been a fan of Regin, Im not sure why but she always seemed to bug me. Getting to hear more of her back story & about her some what immortal mate Aiden the Fierce didnt really change my opinion on her. Regin is a take no BS, charge right ahead, fun loving valkyrie who first meets Aiden when she is a young girl. Aiden knows Regin is his mate & will stop at nothing, even being curse to claim her. But Aiden is mortal & is reborn to return to Regin time & time again as different people. His latest persona is Declan Chase, who has a major hatred for Lore creatures due to childhood incident. But he is drawn to Regin & is torn between his duty of torture & death to lore kind or give in to his feelings to be with her. This pairing I didn't get at all. After all Declan did not only to Regin but also her friends, I dont get how she could want to be with him, despite who he really is. Ive read the paperback previously, but after listening to it still couldn't wait to finish just so I could get to the next instalment in the series.
