The story

Gotrek and Felix head back towards the Empire aboard the arcane dwarf airship Spirit of Grungni. Tired and wounded from their adventures in the Chaos Wastes, the intrepid duo look forward to seeing friendly lands once more. But darker forces are at work and when a violent storm blows them into the Worlds Edge Mountains they disturb a deadly creature of legend which guards a vast golden hoard. With an army of rampaging orcs behind and a wrathful dragon ahead, things look bleak for Gotrek and Felix!

Epic story and adventure
Who doesn't enjoy an epic tail of adventure with dragons, skaven, chaos and greenskins all in one story!

Great progression of the Story
Another well paced and masterfully told story by Jonathan Keeble. A must listen for any Felix fan!!!

Oldhammer at it’s amazing best…
I wish I could erase my memory so I could read these again for the first time. I loved them over 20 years ago, and still do now.
The only sad part is that it reminds you of the travesty they committed when they created Age of Sigmar 😭

Continue in the awesome adventures of G and F.
Love the story.
It’s not quite as gotrek and felix focused as the previous titles alas it’s still an immensely enjoyable tale by William King.
The voice actor by Jonathan Keeble is absolutely top tier and wonderful to listen to. Look forward to the rest of the saga.

Amazing
Everything, start to finish was an amazing tale. This has been one of my favourite books with amazing adventure, peril, laughter and sadness. This book is a great setup in the series for what will become an amazing next book.

Fun continues but not the best volume
This volume has all the stuff you expect from the author: cracking adventure, humour and lots of action. But..
It’s very much a villa volume to build for the big events in the next couple of volumes. So while it’s fun it’s not the best & feels a bit rushed and formulaic (of course it’s a WFB novel!). The series is excellent bubble gum with fantastic characters set in a darkish fantasy universe. So recommend starting with vol 1 not this one.
The narration is fantastic and production far superior then many other fantasy literature about.
