About this listen
Is life as a dragon easier? Sometimes. Is it more awesome? Infinitely!
One minute, I’m working a boring office job and craving more from life. The next? I’m dropped in the middle of a new world as a dragon with jet-black scales and obsidian flames to match.
Luckily, I still have my human form, because the locals weren't happy to see me.
Thankfully, one was a sweet fox girl who loves to daydream. Together we hunt to survive, build ourselves a shelter, and fight some dragon slayers—even recruit a cute battle-elf.
While living the cozy cabin life and having the occasional battle to the death with the locals, another dragon plagues the kingdom. He’s out for blood, not just mine, but the world’s.
And he’s got allies of his own.
I’m building our cabin in a sprawling field next to a sparkling lake. I won’t let the Red Dawn ruin our dream. All I want is to live in peace, and it seems I’m not the only one… Infinitely!

The Actors couldn't save this one for me.
Poor Pacing and many many missed opportunities yet doesn't explore any of it really. Its like the author tried to cram three books into one but didn't want to space it out and pace it and explore the opportunities the author proposed in the book or they just wanted to get this book out. And I really wanted it too explore it, it had shapeshifting into a dragon dose the MC become more dragon then man 'Nope'. Oh there's a leveling system do we see what the states do or special abilities with each level 'Nope'. Oh there's base/town building Cores that could help and explore 'Nope'. Author puts it into the story for options but don't explore them. Plus OOOOH big baddie dragon kills people and make him level up faster and stronger how you going to catch him.... training in magic that's suppose to take months learns in a couple of days after a fight or two yet gets stabbed and beaten by dragons slayers and mainly uses his breath to defeat them and not much else which made the combat boring. Why dose he want to save the town that chased him off when he first arrived cause he wants to and he ant an asshole yay for character but no good reason just don't care to the story just rush it so we can get to dragon v dragon fight.
Voice Actors are great in doing what they do best and why I got this book. Otherwise the story lets them down. If you want extremely fast paced story that's more background story hearing sure go ahead buy it. But If i knew it was a let down story building, pacing, and exploring gaming mechanics I wouldn't of.
