This is a review for the whole series, not just books 16-20.

I started listening to this series because I found an ad for it on Facebook, and I thought it seemed interesting. A book about a disabled girl learning to ride dragons? Seems pretty interesting to me, so I bought episodes 1-5 using a credit.

From the moment I started listening, I couldn't stop. The story was gripping and engaging, I thoroughly enjoyed almost every moment. There were a few plot points that missed the mark for me, but for the most part, the story kept evolving in ways that I had to know what came next.

I loved the story and the world this series is set in. However, the narration leaves some major room for improvement. Where the narrator chose to put the stresses and emphasis in sentences sometimes felt wrong, and there was an odd, almost Shatner-esque cadence to the way the story was read. There were also a number of editing errors too, where I noticed that re-takes of some lines were left in. It's a little off-putting when you hear the same line you just heard re-read a slightly different way. Not to mention, there were also some odd pronunciations of words, but that could be boiled down to the narrator's local way of speaking.

Overall, I did enjoy the story, but I feel that the audio book needs to be either completely re-recorded, or have major editing done to it to try and remove some of the errors in the audio.
