About this listen
After half a century of chaos, my retirement from leading the Community of Species Government has been bliss. No more hellhounds playing pranks. No more snippy demons demanding my attention. No more cajoling money from the wealthy to support the community. Just peace while I avoid my overbearing father and try to work out my next steps.
Although...maybe three years of peace is enough. It might even be starting to get boring. In fact, an adolescent dragon crash-landing on my landlord's shed is just the kind of excitement I need - especially when he brings his species leader to my door.
Brandt. Wing leader of all dragons, suave, sexy, and slightly unhinged. It doesn't take much for him to convince me to give up my solitude and spend some time getting to know him.
But Brandt's the leader of his people, and I've left that part of my life behind me. Plus my father insists I should fulfill my duty to the family by getting a nine-to-five job and "marrying well". That's not what I want, but riding herd on a group of beings who fly, breathe fire, and could literally crush me beneath their feet would be a huge challenge.
It all comes down to how much I want my very own dragon ever after.

Epic
I read the book and listen to the audio book. I really loved it, if you like this kind of stuff you should listen to it, give it a try. I did not regret it

A great light hearted story
The fun shenanigans of this series continue in this spin off. I quite enjoy that the Dragons have a Welsh accent, it brings a different element to the audio you wouldn't get when you read the book yourself. A great light hearted book that promises more in the future books in the series. A good all round read and listen with the wonderful performance by Joel Leslie.

Hilarious!
I forgot just how much fun this whacky cast of characters is read/listen. And Percy, oh wow, Percy is absolutely hilarious in this one. Poor thing, naked dragon rides are going to haunt him foe centuries!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Once again, Joel Leslie absolutely knocked one out of the park with his narration. It's clear he's really comfortable with these characters now, and that just makes the experience even better.
Louisa Masters is a fantastic author, but with Joel's narration, it's a phenomenal experience.
This series is a direct spin off from the Hidden Species series, and it takes off after the events in the last book. I strongly recommend that you read or listen to Hidden Species (first book is Demons Do It Better) first or you might find yourself a bit lost with the characters, world and events.

Naked dragon ride anyone ?!
Percy gets his happy ever after in this book but not before he embarrasses himself a lot with the dragons. This book has so many funny one liners in it that make you laugh out loud, Low on angst and high on fun we see why Percy was the Lucifer for so long with everyone still wanting his advice and attention and he sometimes has to answer some rather weird dragon queries. This book really makes you look at somethings differently, like how magnificent a tea string is 🤭 From the tea trials to John Smith/Stefan’s conspiracies to the bro cameos of Alistair & Caelan this is fun from beginning to end.
