About this listen

An ancient enemy rises from the seas....

Brax and Carmen are exploring the ocean when they come across the dead body of a dragon on an island. He was an outcast, living far away from Drachia, and he was only recently killed. It turns out that the old enemy - one that the dragons believed were all destroyed - have returned. And they want revenge, one dead dragon at a time.

The only way to defeat the mightiest of giants is to face him on his home turf. It is a land like nothing Carmen has ever seen. On a royal mission, Carmen travels to the land of giants, a fabled country that no mortal has visited for thousands of years...and lived to tell the tale. It will be a challenge unlike any other. It's a good thing she has Thord on her side and one more ally she never dreamed she'd see again.

Includes the next two episodes in the Dragon Assassin series: Old Enemies and Downfall.

The Action, Excitement and Humour rolled into one

I truly enjoyed this series, As a Fantasy fiction fan of Dragon stories, I got hooked into this series after the 1st book. I loved the funny smart remarks between each main characters, As a sample, I cannot help but smirk when I read/heard the following :
the following:

The brother-sister humour
"May I remind you, sister," his voice was gravelly and grave, "that the victors write the histories. No one talks about the giants fighting a final glorious battle when they were driven from our shared land."
"You're right, brother," she said. "Maybe you can go to the library, take out those books, and drive the giants away by smacking them about the head with our version of history." She chuckled, but it sounded a little crazy.

Funny barb exchanges between allies in the midst of defeat
"Yes, we fought," Thord said. "We fought against invisible enemies. I fought my father. My brother. And... and Carmen." "Interesting," Brax said. "And if we had all the time in the world, your family squabbles would enchant us."

How I wish I read these books before so I can develop the wit to express myself like this.
After Book 10 I felt kind of wishful that there were more sequels to this.
