About this listen

Henry is a man ready to spend Spring Break with his best friends and their kids in Aspen, Colorado when he gets left with the five-year-old on the plane while the others do some last minute shopping. Delayed by the weather, his friends insist Henry and the boy go on and they will catch up later.

A snowstorm is brewing as the plane takes off with 44 passengers and crew headed for the ski resort. When the plane crashes at the top of a 10,000 foot mountain, Henry realizes it is a miracle that almost everyone is alive and unhurt. Deciding to stay on the plane for shelter, most of the passengers are content to await rescue.

Then Henry notices a wall of snow above them and that the wreckage is directly in the avalanche path, which would throw the plane off another nearby cliff. He decides that him and the boy are taking their chances elsewhere.

Having been on the mountain before, Henry knows there is a cave somewhere on the other side of the peak. He tells the others his plan and asks them to join him. Some do, some don't. What happens next is an exciting story of survival and adventure and shows what makes a hero.
