**Distorted is the first audiobook in the Alabaster Penitentiary series. It is a full M/M romance, with HEA. Each audiobook in this series is technically a standalone, though they are interconnected, so it will be recommended to listen to them in order, as references to this story will be made in future stories. Distorted is intended for mature audiences and open-minded listeners only! If you prefer the same old story, this audiobook won’t be for you.

What a trip
Great characters. Narrators awesome and so right for this story. Their voices conveyed such emotion within me I was drawn into story. I could not anticipate the twists or turns that happened and I still have a lot of unanswered questions. Hope a next book will expand on this story.

So unique!
I really loved this book. So unpredictable, and such a unique setting and storyline.
Dash is such a lovable character too.
Mental health issues & Abuse written well and so important to the story.
Narration was perfect!

Outstanding! A must read
The twist and turns in this book had me hooked from the beginning. Such an amazingly deep and detailed story and the characters love connection is something only some can dream of.

This book is chaotic, intense and captivating.
Distorted is book on the Alabaster Penitentiary series.
I'm shook. Completely shooketh! This book is chaotic, intense and captivating. At times down right disturbing and but will consume you wholly!
Now because I loathe spoilers and this is absolutely a book that needs to be experienced in its intended order I will not be providing our information on the plot or the relationships within the book. But it's an absolutely masterpiece, seriously. There were moments where I thought I had it…where I thought maybe I picked the sub plots and while some of it I was on the right track, others I couldn't have been further from the mark.
Nyla has the ability to not only build and weave a story but to have you guessing, to keep the reader unsure of where the next moment will lead. I look forward to seeing what journey book two Joyless takes…

Frustrated
The first half of the story was fantastic, exciting and hot. Second half ruined it. it made no sence and so many wholes in the plot. i dont want to spoil it but I think the author tried hard to make something work and it just totally missed the mark. But would definitely re read the first half again lol.
