About this listen

Think of this book as a surgery, if you will. A surgery being held on my life, my emotions, my everything. As with all surgeries, the goal is to come out better than you entered the operating room. My hope is that through examining the parts within myself that are the most painful to touch with brute, unedited, and unrestrained honesty, you will be able to see yourself in some of these parts.

I will be touching on subjects that all human beings think about daily, even if they do not verbally express these thoughts. The book will be concluded by a reflection period in which everything will wind down, the surgery will end, and it will be time to honor everything you've received from this dissection.

I love you all, and thank you for entering this journey with me. Now, please grab your chairs, and put on your masks and gloves. It's time to begin.
