Fab read
I love detective, crime and thrillers. But this one is different, s slightly quirky and more interesting story. The narrator is perfect for the style. The characters are easy to know and develop an affinity with. Great read!

More of what we love!
What made the experience of listening to Disgrace the most enjoyable?
The narrator is pure genius. Love it.
Who was your favorite character and why?
The two main leads are my favourites, although a newcomer who was annoying at first is starting to warm on me as well. The detective and his awesome sidekick. What a pair. Their personalities balance each other out perfectly.
Which scene did you most enjoy?
The scene where Karl comes home and thinks there's a party happening but his step-son and lodger have set up a surround sound system.
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Made me laugh in several places due to Karl's dry wit, made me smile at Assad's comments
Any additional comments?
Excellently written, a bit gory, but I listen because I'm now attached to the main characters. I'm looking forward to hearing the whole series.

Great series
Just listened to this a second time as I go through this series again. Bumped it up from four to five stars. You don't realise how good these books are until you hear/read them a second time. Good plots and character development.

Too disturbing
The animal cruelty and rapes stopped this book from being entertaining to me. The narrator was great but the story graphically violent. Stopped listening halfway through.

Very graffic rapes
I enjoyed the first book but the graffic rapes and bad language in this one were too much for me. I returned the book
